Diablo 3 Patch 1.0.7 Goes Live Tomorrow, Adds PvP, Improved Crafting

(1)

At long last, Diablo 3 is getting patched to version 1.0.7, which sees the addition of PvP combat in the form of what Blizzard refers to as "brawling". The patch is expected to go live midnight tonight and players logging on will automatically download it upon launching the game.

In addition to the PvP, players will be able to craft a wide variety of items through the newly improved crafting system.

As a part of the launch of 1.0.7, Blizzard states that it will no longer revive or undelete Hardcore characters—which suffer permanent deaths—as part of any account roll backs. Blizzard explains that hardcore characters were never intended to be revived or undeleted by an account roll back, and that bringing Hardcore characters goes against the spirit of the game.

For a fact, the studio states that when it developed its roll back services for Diablo III from World of Warcraft, they did not have the technology to make Hardcore characters exempt. Therefore, the roll backs were an unintentional side effect of the system's implementation. As of patch 1.0.7, the studio has the ability to exempt Hardcore characters from being revived.  sell cheap diablo 3 gold

Additionally, Blizzard states that some players who lost their hardcore characters through normal game play lodged fraudulent complaints through Customer Support, by faking an account compromise to get their characters revived.

"Not only is this an abuse of the services we provide to the community, but it also impacts other players who have submitted legitimate inquiries by increasing wait times across the board."

Hardcore issues aside, players can look forward to many improvements in Diablo 3 with the release of the patch.
